He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and has held prestigious roles at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, Sandia National Laboratories, and the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Science. As a program manager at DOE's Advanced Scientific Computing Research office, Dr. Spotz co-led the applied mathematics program and managed over $264 million in scientific computing research.
